A thesis is the main argument of an essay. It basically tells what your entire writing is about, in one sentence. Often times, a thesis has three parts, outlining the body paragraphs of your essay. Teachers have preferences for where your thesis should be located, but generally it should be at the end of your first paragraph (the introduction).
Remember to include 3 parts to your essay, to help with the organization of your body paragraphs.
You will be required to submit your thesis (and flowchart) for your essay, so that I can see you are on the right track for your argument.
You will receive a completion mark for this, that will be part of your overall term mark.
